Community Concerts Entertainment Series
The 2024-2025 season marks the 79th year that Plainview Community Concerts has provided unique, professional entertainment to subscribing members in Plainview and surrounding communities.
PCC was founded in 1944 for the purpose of enriching the lives of residents in the South Plains Region of Texas. The Association is a longstanding local institution known for entertainment excellence. Its entrance into the local theatrical arena with its first concert in 1945 featured the Von Trapp Family Singers of “The Sound of Music Fame.” From that powerhouse of an opening, PCC continues just as strong today and remains steadfast in its mission to promote the arts.
As of February 2023, Plainview Community Concerts has staged 331 productions.
A grant from the Sybil B. Harrington Endowment for the Arts, distributed by the Community Foundation of West Texas, has enabled PCC to increase the budget for this season of concerts. The Harrington Grant, your membership, special gifts, and donations make it possible for this remarkable local legacy to continue.
